    • State of the art high pressure Xenon short-arc lamp with proprietary gas mix and electrode design
    • System peak spectral output at 360nm (configurable peak spectrum between 300nm and 1µm)
    • High peak current discharge capacitors maximize UV brightness and ensure short pulse duration; 4µsec minimum
    • Simultaneous pulsed delivery / fluorescence illumination or shuttered fluorescence illumination for maximum convenience and versatility

  4. Digital Diaphragm System

     

    MicroPoint Mosaic Digital Diaphragm System - Imagine the possibilities of using an infinitely configurable field diaphragm on yoru microscope. You could:
    • Uncage, FRAP or FRET any shape specimen feature.
    • Uncage, FRAP or FRET at multiple specimen sites within a field of view simultaneously
    • Perform experiments at new levels of sophistication.
    • Target and illuminate specimen features down to near diffraction limited geometries with our sharp mask

    Photonic Instruments MicroPoint Mosaic Digital Diaphragm System (patent pending) uses a computer controlled spatial light modulator to produce a sharp mask within the eyepiece field of view, at the specimen plane and at any detector.

    Various constant wave and pulsed sources are available, including laser delivery.
